Mir writes to Punjab CM, urges him to ensure safety of Kashmiri students

Strongly condemns the assault on students in Mohali
Srinagar, Jan 22 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Ghulam Ahmad Mir on Friday wrote a letter to Punjab Chief Minister Punjab urging him to ensure safety of Kashmir students.
As per the news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Mir also demanded speedy investigation into the barbaric assault on Kashmir students by a mob in Mohali and sought stern action against the culprits, under law.
In a letter addressed to Chief Minister Punjab, JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir strongly emphasized Punjab Chief Minister to look into the assault of Kashmir Students in Mohali while seeking stern action against culprits.
Mir in his letter expressed resentment and strongly condemned the assault on students by a mob.
The attack on students warrants stern action against the culprits, Mir told the CM in his letter and also urged him to pass directions to every concerned especially Police Authorities that security of JK students must be ensured and anyone found involved in intimidating them (students) be booked—(KNO)
