SSC Constable Recruitment: The Staff
Selection Commission (SSC) has invited
online applications from Indian citizens for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR) and Sepoy in NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau). SSC announced that 20,915 posts have been added to the recruitment drive for Constable (General Duty).
Interested and eligible applicants can apply online through the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in.
The last date for submission of the online application form is November 30. Originally, the number of Constable vacancies was 24,369 posts but the commission recently announced that the total posts will be increased to 45,284.

Eligibility Criteria:
Essential Qualification: Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University.
Age Limit: 18-26 years. Permissible relaxations in the upper age limit for different categories are mentioned in the official notification available below.
Salary Details: Pay Level-1(Rs.18,000 to 56,900) for the post of Sepoy in NCB and Pay Level-3 (Rs. 21,700-69,1 00) for all other posts

The application fee is Rs.100. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempted from payment of fee.
