JKBOSE Scholarship Notification for College and University Students of J&K
SCHOLARSHIP NOTIFICATION
Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students- Inviting ONLINE applications for Fresh Batch 2021, 1st Renewal of Batch 2020, 2nd Renewal of Batch 2019 and 3rd renewal of Batch 2018 on National Scholarship Portal.
It is notified for information that online scholarship applications under Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship (CSSS) for College and University Students sponsored by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), New Delhi through the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education are being invited through National Scholarship Portal (http://scholarships.gov.in) by or before 30th of November, 2021. The students who have passed their Higher Secondary Examination, Part-II (Class 12th) Session Annual, Regular, 2020, Kashmir Division/Winter Zone of Jammu Division/U.T of Ladakh and Annual Regular 2021 in case of Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division, falling within Top 20th percentile and follow the below mentioned eligibility criteria can apply online for the scholarship.
Other Eligibility Criteria:
1. The overall family income should not exceed Rs 8 Lakh per annum.
2. The student should not be availing any other scholarship from any other source.
3. The student should be pursuing undergraduate courses in any stream from recognized institution within or outside U.T of J&K/U.T of Ladakh.
The Top 20 percentile along with important instructions to fill application form online is available on JKBOSE website: www.jkbose.nic.in The quantum of Scholarship is Rs 10,000/-per annum for undergraduate courses i.e. Rs 30,000/- for three years and Rs 20,000/-per year during post graduate courses
Besides, it is also notified for information of all the concerned candidates of 1st Renewal of Batch 2020, 2nd Renewal of Batch 2019 and 3rd renewal of 2018, who are in receipt of Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship (CSSS), can also apply online for their respective renewal installments on National Scholarship Portal by or before 30th November, 2021.
The application after successful completion will be validated online by the University/College/Institutions in which the student is studying at graduate/Post Graduation level.
NOTE: The heads of the University/College/Institutions may get/reset their User ID and Password on Email Id
directoracad@jkbose.co.in to verify the eligible students online for speedy disposal. Also, the candidates of Kashmir Division/ U.T of Ladakh and winter Zone areas of Jammu Division who have passed 12th class examination in session Annual Regular 2020, are advised to fill the passing year 2021 while applying online for grant of scholarship under CSSS.
