Taking strong notice of the fake news item circulated on social media saying that there shall be no board examination for class 8
Director School Education Dr. Tassadug Hussain has strongly refuted the news item.
In a statement DSEK today on 29-10-2021 made it clear that all the schools have been instructed to conduct examinations of class 1″ to 7″ and 9″ as per school Based Assessment Module. The mandatory instructions regarding the SOPs to be followed during the conduct of examinations have already been issued.
However, class 8 annual examination shall be conducted by JKSCERT & DIETS as per past practice. The examination schedule for class 8th shall be notified by JKSCERT accordingly.
