Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) invites online applications, from Indian Citizens, up to 1 Feb, 2022 till 5:30PM to fill up the post of Director, ICMR in Level 14 of Pay Matrix (Rs.1,44,200-2,18,200) (7h CPC Scale) and usual allowances as admissible to ICMR employees for appointment on regular basis under Direct Recruitment at ICMR- National AlDS Research Institute, Pune.
POST DETAILS:
Post Name: Director
Essential Qualification: MD/MS/DNB or equivalent degree” recognized by MCI or First Class Master’s degree with Ph.D from a recognized University in subject mentioned.
Duration of the contract: The initial appointment will be for a duration of 5 years or till superannuation, whichever is earlier. A second term for maximum of 5 years or till superannuation, whichever is earlier may be considered by a review committee, subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria as per Recruitment Rules. During this tenure, if the incumbent is from ICMR, he/she will hold lien of his/her substantive post at ICMR.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 58 years.
Application Fees:
Application Fee (non-refundable) of Rs.1,500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) is required. SC/ST/Women/PWD/EWS candidates are exempted from application fee. Application Fee is to be paid by candidates through online link given in the application form.
Other Conditions:
Application should be submitted along with online application fees. Application’s hard copy need not be sent to ICMR Hqrs.
Application received after the closing date for whatever reason is liable to be rejected.
In the event of any false information furnished or suppression of any material in the application coming to notice, at any time during the recruitment process or thereafter of a person, his/her candidature/ services would be liable to be terminated.
Incomplete or Application without supportive documents is liable to be rejected.
At the time of personal discussion, the applicants working in Centre/State Government Department/ Public Sector Undertakings & Govt. funded research agencies must submit a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer with an undertaking that “the applicant will be relieved within one month of his/her receipt of appointment order”
Any outside influence (political or otherwise) brought in by a candidate shall disqualify him/her.
Any matter for which no specific instruction has been given shall be decided by ICMR and the decision shall be final and binding on the candidates.
