NEET UG 2023: NTA releases guidelines and dress code

NEET UG 2023: NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a competitive exam conducted for admission to various medical and dental colleges in India. As per the guidelines issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the organization responsible for conducting the exam, there is a dress code that candidates must adhere to.

NEET UG 2023: The dress code is as follows:

1. For male candidates:

Male candidates must wear a mask and gloves as per COVID-19 safety guidelines.

Light-colored clothes such as white or beige trousers and a half-sleeve shirt.
Shoes are not allowed. Instead, candidates must wear slippers or sandals with a thin sole.

2. For female candidates:

Female candidates must wear a mask and gloves as per COVID-19 safety guidelines.

Light-colored clothes such as white or beige salwar-kameez, half-sleeve shirt, or a blouse.

Shoes are not allowed. Instead, candidates must wear slippers or sandals with a thin sole.

Candidates are advised not to wear any kind of jewellery, watches, or other accessories. They should also avoid carrying any items such as wallets, belts, handbags, or electronic devices. However, candidates are allowed to carry a transparent water bottle and a cardboard sheet on which nothing should be written. The cardboard sheet will be provided by the examination center.

It is important to note that the dress code is strictly enforced, and candidates who do not adhere to it may not be allowed to appear for the exam. Therefore, it is recommended that candidates follow the guidelines carefully and dress appropriately for the exam.

NEET UG 2023 Exam Day Guidelines: Candidates must reach the exam center at least one hour before the exam. They must carry their admit card, ID proof, and a passport-sized photograph. Items such as electronic devices, books, and notes are not allowed inside the examination hall.

Remember: NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST NEET (UG) – 2023 will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday, 07 May 2023 (Sunday) in Pen and Paper mode in 13 languages, as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test [(NEET (UG)] for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions.
